General Info

Transport Familiarity is now a specialized form of Professional Skill. As such, Transport Familiarities now benefit from the Jack of All Trades skill enhancer.

If you spend more than the minimum cost for a category (or if you buy a category included in a common group you've already bought), you can use this category's Transport Familiarity as a Complementary Skill in the appropriate circumstances.

Categories (and Groups)

Animals and Early Seacraft

These Transport Familiarites (animals and pre-industrial seacraft) are appropriate to fantasy settings.

Common Beasts of Burden            Uncommon Beasts of Burden
Early Seacraft

Land and Sea

These Transport Familiarities (surface vehicles and motorized seacraft) are appropriate to modern (and post-modern) settings.

Aerospace

These Transport Familiarities (aircraft and spacecraft) are appropriate to modern and/or sci-fi settings.

Notes:

  1. The specific category Airship is ordinarily uncommon. However, in a few genres (such as "steampunk"), it will actually be common.
  2. The group Common Aerospace Vehicles is available only in a superhero or futuristic genre.
