Undead Horde I
(Necromancy)
Level: 6
Range: 10 yards
Components: V, S, M
Duration: Permanent
Casting Time: One turn
Area of Effect: Special
Saving Throw: None
This improvement of
reanimation allows
the caster to animate a number
of dead creatures (which in life
had less than two hit dice each)
equal to twice his level.
Thus, a 12th-level wizard casting this
spell could create up to 24 skeletons or
zombies.
The material components for this spell are
a freshly-drawn drop of the caster's blood
and either a pinch of powdered bone
or a bone shard.
Undead Horde II
Level: 7
This improvement of
reanimation allows
the caster to animate a number
of dead creatures (which in life
had less than two hit dice each)
equal to three times his level.
Thus, a 14th-level wizard casting this
spell could create up to 42 skeletons or
zombies.
The material components for this spell are
a freshly-drawn drop of the caster's blood
and either a pinch of powdered bone
or a bone shard.
Undead Horde III
Level: 8
This improvement of
reanimation allows
the caster to animate a number
of dead creatures (which in life
had less than two hit dice each)
equal to four times his level.
Thus, a 16th-level wizard casting this
spell could create up to 64 skeletons or
zombies.
The material components for this spell are
a freshly-drawn drop of the caster's blood
and either a pinch of powdered bone
or a bone shard.
Rejuvenation
Level: 9
This spell will reduce the physical age
of the creature touched,
reducing (or removing) certain penalties
(or benefits, in the case of a dragon)
received due to aging.
The number of years removed by this
spell is 5d4 plus the caster's level.
Thus, a 20th-level mage casting this
spell would remove 25 to 40 years from
the subject's physical age.
However, in no case can the creature's
age be reduced below the minimum for
"adulthood"
(for characters, the minimum starting
age for the character race;
for dragons, the minimum age for the
"young adult" category).
Regardless of whether or not the
creature wants to be affected by
this spell,
the creature rolls a saving throw
against "death" to halve the
number of years restored.
Casting this spell permanently reduces
the caster's Constitution score by one
point.
The material component for this spell
is an extract made from the liver of
a giant turtle.
Undead Horde IV
Level: 9
This improvement of
reanimation allows
the caster to animate a number
of dead creatures (which in life
had less than two hit dice each)
equal to the square of his level.
Thus, a 18th-level wizard casting this
spell could create up to 324 skeletons or
zombies.
The material components for this spell are
either a pinch of powdered bone
or a bone shard.
Furthermore, the caster loses 1d4
hit points when casting this spell;
these hit points can be healed
naturally (but not magically).
