Level: 3
Range: 30 yards

Duration: 2 rounds + 1 round/level
Casting Time: 3
Area of Effect: Special

By means on this variation of critter conjuring I, the caster summons a single 1st-level monster to do his bidding. The caster of this spell has some say over just what kind of monster answers his summons. The gamemaster rolls a number of different monsters on the "Critter Conjuring I" table appropriate to the local terrain or setting (rerolling any duplicates), and the caster chooses one of these creatures as the type of monster actually summoned. The caster is entitled to two such rolls, plus one extra roll for every three levels. (Naturally, if the caster is entitled to as many die rolls as there are entries in the table, the caster may choose whichever monster he wants without the GM having to roll any dice.)
